Product Description

This vegetarian rennet is available in a highly concentrated form (220IMCU/ml). It is presented in a 500ml heavy duty bottle, which ensures accurate dosing of milk to achieve consistent results when cheese making.

The rennet is industrial strength and should be added at a rate of 4 drops per gallon (4.5 litres) of milk to produce an excellent soft cheese. It may also be pre-diluted with a little cold boiled water (say a teaspoonful) to assist when dosing smaller quantities of milk - or simply stir vigorously whilst adding.

This rennet may also be used for making junket, although it will need to be diluted first because of its high strength. The shelf life of the rennet is a full 6 months when stored in a normal fridge.
