Wide beaker mould - cylindrical but tapered: measuring 82mm inside diameter (base) and 100mm (top), with a height of 110mm. Ideal for producing soft cheeses that fit our medium sized cheese boxes.

Product Description

We supply a range of cheese moulds that are all manufactured from special 'Dairythene' plastic for easy sterilisation.

Each mould is drilled with numerous holes to allow the whey to escape. In production these moulds are usually lined with a cheese cloth prior to filling with curd and set on a cheese mat to ensure complete drainage: this is especially important if the cheese is pressed.

This particular one is known as a Beaker mould and is cylindrical but tapered: it measures 82mm inside diameter at the base and 100mm at the top, with a height of 110mm. This is an economic starter mould, ideal for many types of soft and semi-soft cheeses and produces a cheese that fits our standard medium-sized cheese boxes too.
